So…2012 is causing me to rethink a lot of things related to work and my future in the work world. One of these things has been to push ahead in my photography business. It’s one of my many jobs that I oh-so enjoy and it brings me much satisfaction. :) So…a new year, (another) new logo and a new frame of mind. This is business and fun…but still business. So, let me introduce my new logo.

Drum roll please…………………………..

So, it’s not my full name…but most of you know what it is anyway…for those of you that don’t, we made a logo just for you!

Although I much prefer the first. Now to redo all my labels and business cards and watermarks! Anyway…I hope you like it…because I do and I LOVE how clean it looks on my photos. Our whole goal was to let the photos do the talking. And by we, and our…I mean myself and Laura Guill! AKA my logo lady. :) You can visit her website if you like at www.lauraguill.com.

Shall we look at some photos? Because I haven’t blogged about photography stuff in a while!

These animals live next door to us and yet I never seem to have the time or my camera on me to take their lovely pictures…but today I made time for these furry pets (well, I think Mr. Cow here is intended to be more like a yummy steak instead of a pet…EEK!). Anyway…they’re so cute.

This goat…so fashionable with his ombre beard.

And these two…one minute they looked like BFF and the next they were going at it like macho men. Love-hate relationship.

Next I want to look at a recent maternity photo shoot. My friend Christy! She’s got a little boy cookin’ in her belly and she looks super amazing while he’s in there.

I always start out with favorites…and then I go through and keep editing…I usually click through each photo like 10-20 times. And even after all the clicking and things starting to all look the same, I still LOVED this one. I just think it’s gorgeous. Obviously SHE is gorgeous. But if you’re going to do bare belly…I think it should be artsy or classy…and I think this goes for both. I just love it. :)

And this one…so I think it’s really cute…but I also think it’s hilarious! :) Basically because I told her to throw her head back and fake laugh and she fake laughed like a PRO! And you all never would have known otherwise, am I right?

And here’s the lovely Wonnenberg family. They are really just a very photogenic family that I hardly had to pose or direct…except for a few arty-ish poses…who knows, they may have been thinking…ARE YOU SERIOUS? This is rediculous…but one thing that I will always remember is that Natalie told her mom that she had to trust me! How awesome is that? :) Now I’m going to have to tell people myself!

Well…as much as I would like to keep adding more and more photos from these sessions…and others that I haven’t blogged about…I must sleep. Otherwise no one will want to be around me. Sweet dreams.
